Good morning 🌤️ Two things happened this past week that cannot be ignored but also, decidedly, cannot get any more coverage, so we’ll say this: A high-ranking government official in Equatorial Guinea almost caused a war and an epidemic in one day, and Trump mumbled and insulted his way into what Israel’s self-interested PM called “history’s greatest comeback.”
Elsewhere, HubSpot co-founder and CTO Dharmesh Shah sold the Chat.com domain, which he bought for ~15 million, to his friend Sam Altman and OpenAI. Dharmesh said he got mostly OpenAI stock for the domain as he felt bad about profiting off people he considers friends.
